About this opportunity

The Digital Humanism Junior Visiting Fellowship supports doctoral researchers and early-career postdoctoral scholars researching how digitalization intersects with society, economics, politics, geopolitics, and human values. Selected fellows spend three months at IWM in Vienna, joining its international research community and developing their research projects.

Requirements

- Be currently enrolled in a doctoral programme, or - Have obtained a PhD no earlier than 21 September 2022. - Proposed research must address Digital Humanism and the societal, economic or geopolitical dimensions of digitalization. - Applicants can come from any academic discipline, provided the research fits the fellowship's thematic focus. - Projects that merely use digital tools for traditional humanities research (Digital Humanities) are not eligible. - Submit all application materials in English. - Submit two academic recommendation letters.
