The Africa Prize supports African innovators developing engineering-based solutions with potential for commercialisation and social or economic impact. Up to 16 innovators receive an eight-month programme focused on business development, commercialisation and technical mentoring, with finalists competing for prize money.

This programme funds collaborative research partnerships between UK and Japanese researchers working on advanced connectivity technologies, including next-generation communications, networking, and digital infrastructure. The objective is to establish long-term international research partnerships between institutions in both countries.

NANS Innovate is a national entrepreneurship summit for Nigerian tertiary students who are already running businesses or have strong business ideas. The programme combines mentorship, networking and a national pitch competition where the top 20 finalists compete for business funding. 

The ISTA-Fellow is a two-year, fully funded postdoctoral fellowship for highly qualified researchers who have completed or are about to complete a PhD in the natural sciences, computer sciences, mathematics or related disciplines. Fellows conduct independent research within an ISTA research group in an international and interdisciplinary environment.

The Maastricht University NL-High Potential Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship for talented non-EU/EEA students applying for a participating full-time Master's programme at Maastricht University. The scholarship combines the NL Scholarship with the Maastricht University High Potential Scholarship and is awarded to outstanding international students.

The APEX Awards support interdisciplinary researchers who want to pursue innovative, high-risk projects that bridge disciplines. The New Leaders Programme is designed to equip emerging leaders in New Zealand's arts and creative sector with leadership skills, strategic thinking, and professional development. Participants receive structured learning experiences, mentorship, and opportunities to strengthen leadership within creative organisations and communities

The Liège International Comedy Film Festival (FIFCL) is an international film festival dedicated exclusively to comedy in all its forms, including pure, romantic, social, dramatic, surreal, burlesque, dark and musical comedy. The 11th edition will take place in Liège from 10–14 November 2026. Filmmakers can submit eligible short films, feature films and certain comedy documentaries for the Official Selection

Eurostars funds international collaborative research and innovation projects led by innovative SMEs. The programme supports the development of new products, processes, and services through partnerships between businesses, universities, and research organisations across participating countries. 

The UNESCO AfriMAB GRÓ-LRT Land Restoration Fellowship is a fully funded six-month postgraduate training programme for professionals working in African UNESCO Biosphere Reserves. Hosted at the Agricultural University of Iceland, the programme combines classroom instruction, field training, and an individual restoration project tailored to the fellow's home institution. Fellows earn 30 ECTS postgraduate credits and a GRÓ LRT Diploma upon successful completion. The 2027 programme runs from 26 February 2027 for six months.

The MacDowell Fellowship (commonly called the MacDowell Residency) is one of the oldest and most prestigious artist residencies in the United States. Founded in 1907, it provides artists with fully funded, uninterrupted time and space to focus on their creative work in a rural retreat in Peterborough, New Hampshire, USA. MacDowell supports artists working across disciplines, including: Literature (fiction, nonfiction, poetry, playwriting) Visual arts Music composition Selected fellows receive private studios, accommodation, meals, and complete creative freedom. The program is designed to remove all financial and logistical distractions so artists can focus entirely on producing new work. MacDowell has hosted many influential artists, including winners of Pulitzer Prizes, MacArthur “Genius Grants,” and Nobel Prizes
