About this opportunity
The African Faculty Fellowship supports African university faculty conducting research in collaboration with researchers at the University of Michigan. Fellows spend one year in residence at Michigan as part of a two-year programme and receive research, professional-development and financial support.
Requirements
- Be a faculty member at an African university.
- Have a PhD or equivalent research qualification.
- Have an eligible research project.
- Establish collaboration with a University of Michigan faculty member.
- Be available for the required period of residence.
- Research must fall within the programme's eligible areas.
- Biological/biomedical proposals focused primarily on diagnosis, prevention or treatment of disease are excluded.
