Connect & Create supports the international circulation of African performing arts and music by funding tours and participation in major international festivals and cultural events. The 2027 call supports projects taking place between February and December 2027 in Africa, Europe or both regions. Requirements
- Applicants must be eligible cultural organisations, artists, groups or companies meeting the programme requirements.
- African and European applicants can participate under the relevant project structures.
- For African tours, projects must have at least 5 pre-confirmed performances in at least 3 different countries, excluding the applicant's country of residence.
- European tours require at least 3 pre-confirmed performances.
- Projects may alternatively involve programming at major international events.
- Applicants must demonstrate the required co-financing.
- Projects must take place between February and December 2027.
- Projects should demonstrate artistic quality, originality and international collaboration.
