About this opportunity
R.A.R.O. Buenos Aires is an international artist residency built around a network of more than 28 local artists' studios and cultural spaces, rather than a single studio. The six-week October–November 2026 Macro-Residency gives participants four weeks to develop their creative processes across selected studios, followed by a final exhibition. Residents also receive curatorial meetings, workshops, advisory sessions and opportunities to connect with artists and the Buenos Aires cultural scene.
Requirements
- Be 18 years or older.
- Be of any nationality.
- Be an artist, creator, curator, cultural manager, researcher or other practitioner working in or connected to art and culture.
- Applicants may be:
- Self-taught artists
- Emerging artists
- Established/professional artists
- Researchers
- Curators
- Cultural or social managers.
- Work in any artistic medium, discipline or language.
- Submit the required application and artistic/project information.
- Be available to participate in the residency from 8 October to 15 November 2026.
