Fondazione Prada Film Fund — Development & Post-production 2026

The Fondazione Prada Film Fund is an annual funding programme supporting independent feature films with strong artistic, intellectual and cultural value. The 2026 call supports projects at the development, production and post-production stages, with €1.5 million in total funding available for up to 14 projects. There are no restrictions based on geography, genre, theme or language.

- Applications must be submitted by a production company involved in the project; individual filmmakers cannot apply directly. - The applicant production company must have produced at least 2 feature films that received their world premieres at eligible international film festivals. - The production company must contribute at least 20% of the film's total budget. - The project must be a feature film of at least 65 minutes. - Development projects:At least 70% of the development budget must already be secured. - At least 20% of the total production budget must be secured. - Post-production projects:At least 80% of the total budget must already be secured. - The film must be completed within 6 months of the grant award. - General overhead and administrative costs cannot exceed 10% of the total project budget. - Projects may be from any country and in any language or genre.
