About this opportunity
The Brahms International Online Music Competition is an international online classical music competition open to musicians of all ages and nationalities. Season 4/2026 accepts applications from soloists, composers, conductors and chamber ensembles. The preliminary round is completely free, with selected participants invited to a paid final round.
Requirements
- Be a classical musician from any country.
- Applicants of all ages are eligible.
- Apply as one of the following:
- Soloist
- Composer
- Conductor
- Chamber Ensemble.
- Soloists may perform any instrument or voice type.
- Submit a performance video through YouTube or a similar platform.
- Video must be publicly accessible or unlisted, not private.
- Repertoire is free choice; performing a Brahms composition is not mandatory.
- Video duration:
- Minimum: 1 minute
- Maximum: 25 minutes.
- Soloists and ensembles must be visible in the recording.
- Conductors must show their silhouette from the waist up.
- Composers may submit audio; a score is welcome but not mandatory.
- Complete the online application by 20 September 2026.
