About this opportunity
The Luxembourg City Film Festival Young Audience competition is part of the 17th edition of the Luxembourg City Film Festival, taking place from 4–14 March 2027. The Young Audience programme focuses on films suitable for children and teenagers and forms part of the festival's wider film-education programme. Selected films compete for the Young Jury Prize – by Kinepolis, worth €2,000.
Requirements
- Submit a film for consideration by the Luxembourg City Film Festival.
- The film must qualify for the Festival's Young Audience department.
- International submissions must be feature-length films; the festival currently does not accept international short films.
- Eligible international feature films must have been produced in 2026 or 2027.
- The film must not have had a theatrical release in Luxembourg, Belgium, France or Germany before 14 March 2027.
- A Luxembourg avant-première of any kind makes the film ineligible.
- Submit an online screener and complete the official submission form.
- If the film is intended for the Young Audience department, applicants must indicate this in the “note” field of the submission form.
- Submission fees are non-refundable.
