About this opportunity
The Sony World Photography Awards 2027 Single Image competition celebrates the impact of an individual photograph. Photographers can submit their strongest single images taken during 2026, with entries judged across 10 categories. The competition is international, free to enter, and open to photographers regardless of career stage.
Requirements
- Be a photographer of any nationality or career level.
- Submit photographs taken in 2026.
- Submit up to 3 individual images for free.
- Each image is judged individually rather than as a series.
- Images must be submitted as JPEG files.
- Images must be between 1MB and 5MB.
- Images must use the sRGB colour model.
- Applicants must be the sole owner and author of each submitted image.
- The image may be digitally manipulated, but the manipulation must comply with the competition rules and be disclosed where required.
- Computer-generated content cannot be the original source of the photograph.
- Entrants must be able to provide a high-resolution version suitable for exhibition/marketing purposes if requested
