About this opportunity

The Pollock-Krasner Foundation provides unrestricted grants to exceptional professional visual artists to support the continued development of their artistic practice. Funding can be used for materials, studio expenses, exhibitions, professional opportunities and other needs that allow artists to meaningfully pursue their work. The programme supports artists internationally.

Requirements

- Be a professional visual artist. - Work primarily in: - Painting - Sculpture - Works on paper, including printmaking. - Have an established professional exhibition and award history. - Be actively exhibiting current work in professional galleries, museums or recognised exhibition spaces. - Have a minimum of 10 exhibitions within the past 10 years at professional galleries, museums or recognised exhibition spaces. - Submit artwork completed within the past 10 years. - Submit: - Completed online application - Cover letter - Artist statement - Current CV/resume including exhibition history - 10 digital images of recent work - Image identification list - Contact information for three professional references. - Applications must be submitted online; applications by mail, email or fax are not accepted. Who Is Not Eligible: - Students seeking funding for academic study. - Artists whose primary practice is: - Photography - Video/film - Performance art - Graphic/commercial art - Illustration - Craft - Generative/AI-generated art.
