About this opportunity
The Korea Foundation provides scholarships to international graduate students conducting Korea-related studies at universities outside North America, Europe and Japan. The current second-half 2026 call includes applicants studying at universities in Africa.
Requirements
- Be a foreign citizen/permanent resident meeting the Foundation's nationality requirements.
- Be enrolled or planning to enrol full-time at a university outside North America, Europe and Japan.
- Conduct research related to Korea.
- Be studying an eligible discipline.
- Submit a study/research plan and supporting documents.
- Applicants who already hold a PhD are excluded from this particular scholarship.
