IWA–Grundfos Youth Action forSDG 6 Fellowship 2027–2028
All Information
This international fellowship helps young water professionals develop practical solutions to water-related challenges, including improved water services, innovative technologies, new business models and community capacity-building. Participants take part in structured learning, peer exchange, mentoring and engagement with water-sector experts. It is important to distinguish this from a project grant: the programme helps fellows strengthen their innovations but does not directly finance the implementation of their projects.
Requirements checklist
- 01
Be aged 18–35 by the end of the fellowship in December 2028.

Be an active IWA Young Water Professional member or an eligible Grundfos employee.
- 03
Be engaged in the water sector through study, research, employment, entrepreneurship or another relevant activity.
- 04
Have an existing innovation or solution with evidence of development beyond an idea alone.
- 05
Submit a CV, motivation letter, reference and innovation proposal in English.
