SCAR is a creative fellowship designed by and for professional artists living with spinal cord injuries. It combines a year of creative development, virtual critique sessions, peer exchange and professional development with opportunities for public presentation and an exhibition. Fellows can participate virtually or take part in the supported in-person residency in Santa Fe. The programme aims to reduce access barriers in the arts by supporting creative production and daily-living needs. It is a strong funded opportunity for artists who meet its specific eligibility requirements.
Requirements checklist

Be at least 21 years old.

Be a professional artist living with a spinal cord injury.

Have at least 10 years of professional artistic experience.

Submit the official application and required portfolio materials.

Be able to participate in the virtual programme and relevant in-person activities, subject to individual access arrangements.
