Down the Lane ArtistResidency 2027

Down the Lane offers one practising artist a fully supported month-long residency in Melbourne, Australia. The programme is open to artists worldwide across disciplines and provides a private studio, accommodation, return airfare and a production budget. It is designed to give the selected artist uninterrupted time to make new work while connecting with Melbourne’s creative community. This is a strong opportunity for artists who can develop a clear, achievable project during the fixed residency month. An application fee applies, and daily living expenses outside the included accommodation and support remain the artist’s responsibility.
