The Seto Art Residency is a three-week international creative residency scheduled for June 2027 in Akō, Japan. It is designed to support artists from different countries and career stages through a shared creative environment, cultural exchange and dedicated studio access. Three artists will be selected for the 2027 programme. The residency provides substantial practical support, including round-trip airfare, accommodation, studio access and a US$1,000 living-cost grant. Artists are not required to hold a formal art degree or have gallery representation. The programme is open to different artistic disciplines and is particularly suitable for artists seeking an international creative experience with travel and living support.

Requirements checklist
