All Information

The Helene Wurlitzer Foundation provides residential grants for creative practitioners seeking uninterrupted time to develop their artistic work. The current application cycle is for 2028 residency sessions in Taos, New Mexico. Selected artists receive a furnished private residence on the foundation's campus for a period of ten to 12 weeks. The programme welcomes visual artists, literary practitioners, filmmakers and music composers from all over the world. Residents are not required to produce a particular work or participate in a formal exhibition, allowing them to focus on their individual creative development. Food and transportation are the responsibility of the resident, and the foundation does not normally provide travel funding or a cash stipend.
