SCION is a 10-week accelerator designed to help early-stage startups and research teams turn science-backed environmental and sustainability ideas into investable businesses. Its focus includes clean technology and nature technology, such as regenerative agriculture, biodiversity tracking, carbon removal, water management, circular systems and sustainable blue-economy solutions. Participants receive expert mentorship, investor and ecosystem connections, practical workshops, fundraising guidance and support with go-to-market strategies.
Requirements checklist

Applicants should be founders, entrepreneurs, scientists or multidisciplinary teams developing an early-stage clean-tech or nature-tech venture.

The project should be beyond the idea stage and ready to prototype, pilot or scale.

Applicants should prepare an updated pitch deck or relevant business documents.
- 04
Participating teams must have a legally incorporated entity by the end of the programme.
- 05
Applicants must be able to attend the in-person activities in Sofia, Bulgaria.
- 06
Participation involves an equity arrangement in exchange for accelerator services, mentorship and resources.
