The UKRI Future Leaders Fellowships (FLF) is one of the United Kingdom's flagship fellowship programmes for emerging research and innovation leaders. Rather than funding a single research project alone, it invests in individuals with exceptional potential to become future leaders in academia, industry, charities, government, or other research-intensive sectors. The fellowship enables researchers and innovators to pursue ambitious, long-term programmes while establishing research independence, building international collaborations, and developing leadership capacity. Applicants from any nationality may apply, provided they secure the support of an eligible UK host organisation
