About this opportunity
The Fulbright African Research Scholar Award enables African faculty members and experienced researchers to conduct research or lecture at accredited U.S. universities for 3–6 months. The programme promotes academic collaboration between African and American institutions and supports research across all disciplines. It is one of the flagship international exchange programmes of the U.S. Department of State.
Requirements
- Be a citizen of an eligible African country.
- Hold a PhD or equivalent terminal degree (or equivalent research experience where applicable).
- Be employed at a university or research institution.
- Demonstrate a strong academic record.
- Meet the Fulbright eligibility requirements.
