About this opportunity

The Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship is Japan's flagship fully funded scholarship for international students. It supports undergraduate, Master's, PhD, College of Technology, Specialized Training College, Japanese Studies, Teacher Training, and Young Leaders' Programme students at Japanese universities. Applications are submitted either through the Embassy Recommendation route or the University Recommendation route.

Requirements

- Be a citizen of a country with diplomatic relations with Japan. - Meet the academic qualifications for the chosen programme. - Meet the age requirements stated in the annual guidelines. - Be physically and mentally fit for study in Japan. - Meet the language requirements (Japanese or English, depending on the programme). - Apply through the Japanese Embassy/Consulate or an eligible Japanese university, depending on the application route.
