The One Young World Leading Scholarship 2026 is One Young World's flagship fully funded scholarship, designed to enable exceptional young leaders from countries that are often underrepresented at global decision-making forums to attend the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa, from 3–6 November 2026. The programme recognizes young people creating positive social, economic, or environmental impact through leadership, innovation, and community engagement.

Requirements checklist

    Be 18–35 years old at the time of the Summit.

    Demonstrate a strong commitment to creating positive change.

  3. 03

    Be addressing important local and/or global challenges through your work or initiatives.

  4. 04

    Show a track record of impactful and innovative leadership.

  5. 05

    Priority is given to

    Applicants from countries underrepresented at previous One Young World Summits.

  7. 07

    First-time One Young World Summit attendees (non-Ambassadors).
