About this opportunity
The UNICEF Venture Fund invests in early-stage, open-source technology startups that improve the lives of children and young people. The Fund supports companies developing frontier technologies with the potential to create large-scale social impact. Priority areas include artificial intelligence, blockchain, data science, drones, digital public goods, assistive technologies, and climate resilience
Requirements
- Be a registered private-sector startup in a UNICEF programme country.
- Have a working prototype or minimum viable product (MVP).
- Build an open-source or digital public good solution.
- Demonstrate potential to improve outcomes for children and young people.
- Have at least one full-time founder.
- Be seeking early-stage funding to scale the solution
