About this opportunity
The National Treasury External Bursary Scheme provides financial assistance to academically outstanding South African students pursuing qualifications in scarce skills identified by the National Treasury. The bursary is intended for students entering their third year of undergraduate study, Honours, or Master's programmes in 2027 at accredited South African higher education institutions.
Requirements
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be accepted or registered for full-time study at an accredited South African higher education institution.
- Be entering:
- Third-year undergraduate studies, or
- Honours degree, or
- Master's degree in 2027.
- Demonstrate strong academic performance.
- Study in one of the approved fields.
- Submit the completed bursary application form and all required supporting documents through the National Treasury e-Recruitment portal before the deadline
