The Chevening LSE Fellowship is a research-focused fellowship for mid-career professionals from China. Fellows spend 3, 6, or 9 months at LSE working on a defined research project with an academic supervisor. The programme is particularly suited to professionals working in international relations, public policy, public diplomacy, development, and social, economic or environmental policy
Requirements checklist

Be a Chinese citizen.

Currently live in China and intend to return to China after the fellowship.

Hold a postgraduate qualification or equivalent professional training/experience.
- 04
Have at least five years of work experience, or be currently enrolled as a PhD candidate.

PhD candidates must not be studying at a UK, EU or US university.

Demonstrate an excellent academic/professional record.
- 07
Demonstrate relevant research experience or outputs.

Submit a research proposal.
