The University of Malta Postgraduate Scholarship is awarded to outstanding international students from outside the EU/EEA pursuing a Master's by Research or PhD at the University of Malta. The scholarship is merit-based and provides a tuition fee waiver ranging from 40% to 100%, depending on the applicant's academic profile and interview performance. Professional doctorates and MBA programmes are not eligible.

Requirements checklist

    Be an international student from a country outside the EU/EEA.

    Apply for an eligible Master's by Research or PhD programme.

    Obtain an unconditional offer of admission from the University of Malta.

  4. 04

    Submit the scholarship application within the timeframe specified by the University once the scholarship opens.

    Professional doctorates and MBA-type programmes are not eligible.
