About this opportunity

The UNFPA Global Internship Roster is a pool of internship opportunities for students and recent graduates who want practical experience with the United Nations Population Fund. Interns can work across different UNFPA offices and functions, gaining experience in areas connected to development, population issues, gender equality, reproductive health, communications, policy, programme management, research and administration.

Requirements

- Be enrolled in a first university degree programme and have completed at least one full academic year; or - Be enrolled in a Master's or higher postgraduate programme; or - Have recently graduated from a university degree programme and, if selected, begin the internship within one year of graduation; or - Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship programme and undertake the internship as part of that programme. - Demonstrate an interest in development. - Have written and spoken proficiency in at least one UN working language, English or French, and meet the language requirements of the relevant UNFPA office. - Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds. - You cannot apply if your father, mother, son, daughter, brother or sister is a UNFPA staff member.
