About this opportunity
The WSA Young Innovators Award is a global competition recognising young entrepreneurs and teams using digital technology to create positive social or environmental impact. Eligible solutions can include apps, websites, software, AI solutions, games, interactive products and other digital innovations aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Requirements
- At least one founding member must be under 26.
- The majority of the team must be under 26.
- Young innovators must be born on or after 1 January 2000 for the 2026 award.
- Be from a UN or UNESCO member state.
- Submit a digital solution with a strong social or environmental impact.
- The solution should contribute to one or more UN SDGs.
- The solution must have a strong digital component, such as an app, website, software, AI, wearable technology, SMS-based product, game or interactive production.
- The solution must be already launched/market-ready; ideas or unfinished concepts are not eligible.
