About this opportunity
The ISTA-Fellow is a two-year, fully funded postdoctoral fellowship for highly qualified researchers who have completed or are about to complete a PhD in the natural sciences, computer sciences, mathematics or related disciplines. Fellows conduct independent research within an ISTA research group in an international and interdisciplinary environment.
Requirements
- Hold a PhD or equivalent qualification, or expect to complete the PhD before the fellowship begins.
- If completing the PhD after applying, the degree must be completed no later than 15 June 2027.
- Apply with a research project aligned with an eligible ISTA research group.
- Identify a suitable ISTA host research group/supervisor.
- Researchers already employed at ISTA before 1 September 2026 are not eligible.
