IATSS Forum Leadership Program2027
All Information
The IATSS Forum is an 8-week leadership development programme in Japan for young professionals from selected Asian countries. The programme develops collaborative leadership, cross-cultural understanding and the ability to create practical solutions for sustainable and peaceful development. Participants take part in leadership workshops, seminars, field studies and group research.
Requirements checklist

Be a citizen of one of the 10 eligible countries: Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand or Vietnam.

Be 35 years old or younger at the application deadline.
- 03
Currently be a full-time professional employee; self-employed and freelance applicants are also eligible.

Have at least 2 years of full-time professional work experience.
- 05
Have sufficient English proficiency.
- 06
Demonstrate cultural adaptability and the ability to participate independently in the programme.
- 07
Show leadership experience or potential.
- 08
Demonstrate awareness of issues affecting your country/community and motivation to contribute to sustainable development.
