About this opportunity
Bido is a Nigeria-first venture studio designed to identify promising Nigerian founders and work with them to build, structure and scale real businesses. Unlike a conventional grant or accelerator, bido provides capital, infrastructure, strategic support, systems and governance in exchange for an equity stake in the supported venture. Cohort 1 is targeting six ventures, with applications opening in September 2026.
Requirements
- Be 18 years or older.
- Be based in Nigeria.
- Have a real business idea or existing business.
- Be prepared to build and operate the venture seriously.
- Teams may contain 1–5 people.
- Lagos and Abuja are preferred for the first year.
- Clearly identify the problem being solved and the people experiencing that problem.
- Be willing to accept an equity-based venture-studio relationship.
- Participate in the studio's milestone-based operating structure
