About this opportunity
The True Blue Fellowship supports young people around the world who are using creative arts to address ocean, waterways or climate-change challenges in their communities. Fellows receive project funding, mentorship and capacity-building support while developing and implementing their projects over the fellowship year. Applications can be submitted by individuals, groups or organisations, making this particularly useful for young creatives working on environmental storytelling and advocacy. Requirements
- Be 16–24 years old at the start of the fellowship period.
- Be from any country worldwide.
- Be comfortable communicating in spoken English.
- Apply individually or as part of a group/organisation.
- Have a new or emerging project that is less than two years old.
- Use creative arts as the primary method for awareness or action.
- Project must address an ocean, waterways and/or climate-change issue.
- Submit one letter of recommendation.
- Provide a realistic project timeline and budget.
- Be available to participate in monthly fellowship activities, workshops and peer collaboration.
