The Researcher–Sciencepreneur Collaboration Grant supports collaborations between Swiss researchers and African researchers or science-based entrepreneurs to develop innovations with a credible path toward real-world impact. Projects can focus on activities such as prototyping, co-design, market discovery and pilot testing. The programme is designed to bridge academic research and entrepreneurship and help science-based ventures move closer to implementation and commercialisation. Requirements checklist

The project must involve a Swiss lead applicant and an African co-applicant.

At least one applicant should be affiliated with a research institution.

The other applicant should be a science-based venture/sciencepreneur.

The African partner must be from an eligible Sub-Saharan African country.

Applications should demonstrate a meaningful researcher–sciencepreneur collaboration.

Projects should have a credible route toward innovation and impact.

Applicants submit a venture description and project outline.

A short pitch deck is required.

A 2-minute collaboration video is required, ideally featuring both partners.
