About this opportunity
The FRIAS Sustainable Governance Senior Fellowship supports experienced researchers working at African institutions whose research relates to sustainable governance. Selected fellows spend six months at the University of Freiburg during the 2027/28 academic year, gaining access to research infrastructure, academic networks and opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration
Requirements
- Be a researcher based in an African country.
- Be based at an African institution.
- Hold a completed doctoral degree.
- Have at least 8 years of postdoctoral experience.
- Have a research profile relevant to sustainable governance.
- Submit a research proposal.
- Demonstrate strong academic achievements.
- Be able to participate in the six-month fellowship.
