The Liège International Comedy Film Festival (FIFCL) is an international film festival dedicated exclusively to comedy in all its forms, including pure, romantic, social, dramatic, surreal, burlesque, dark and musical comedy. The 11th edition will take place in Liège from 10–14 November 2026. Filmmakers can submit eligible short films, feature films and certain comedy documentaries for the Official Selection
Requirements checklist

Submit a comedy film for consideration.

Eligible formats include:
• Short films • Feature-length films
- 03
Documentaries about comedy figures, for out-of-competition consideration.

Films must have been produced within the 12 months preceding the festival.
- 05
Films can be produced in Belgium or internationally.
- 06
Feature films must be over 60 minutes.
- 07
Short films must be 20 minutes or less.
- 08
Films between 20 and 60 minutes are not eligible.
- 09
Competition films must not previously have been broadcast, released online/television, or distributed on DVD, Blu-ray or VOD.

Submit an online viewing link, such as a password-protected Vimeo link.

Films not originally in French or English must have French or English subtitles for selection.

Pay the €10 submission fee.
- 13
The registration form must be completed and validated before the deadline.
