About this opportunity
The Futurefarmers Artist in Residence (AIR) programme provides an interdisciplinary environment for artists, designers, writers and architects to develop independent projects while collaborating with the Futurefarmers studio. The programme encourages research, experimentation and knowledge exchange, with residents able to balance their own work with collaborative Futurefarmers projects. Futurefarmers has hosted more than 25 artists from 13 countries since the programme began.
Requirements
- Be an artist, designer, writer or architect.
- Submit an application demonstrating an interest in working with Futurefarmers.
- Explain:
- How the residency would affect your work.
- How your practice aligns with Futurefarmers.
- Provide a list of artistic, computer or other relevant skills.
- Describe skills you would like to acquire or develop during the residency.
- Submit a resume/CV.
- Provide descriptions of projects you would like to develop during the residency.
- Include examples of previous projects relevant to the application.
- Provide relevant URLs/portfolio links.
- Include a brief personal element, such as dreams or childhood memories, as requested by the programme.
- Applications are submitted by email or post.
