About this opportunity
Achterhaus offers two fully funded three-month residencies in Hamburg for international visual artists living outside Germany. The programme provides artists with dedicated time, accommodation, financial support and access to Hamburg's artistic community while they develop their practice.
Requirements
- Be a visual artist.
- Live outside Germany.
- Apply as an individual artist or artist duo.
- Submit a portfolio and information about your artistic practice.
- Demonstrate a project or practice that would benefit from the residency.
- Be available for one of the offered residency periods:
- January–March 2027
- April–June 2027
- Meet the application requirements specified by Achterhaus.
