About this opportunity
The EAN Fellowship is an African Union startup acceleration programme designed to help promising African businesses grow through structured training, expert mentorship, intellectual-property support and access to markets across Africa and beyond. Cohort 2 will support 100 fellows from all 55 African Union Member States.
Requirements
- Business must be youth- or women-led.
- Must be registered and operating in an AU Member State.
- Must be formally registered as a business entity.
- Must have operated for at least 2 years.
- Must employ at least 3 full-time staff.
- Businesses are assessed according to maturity:
- Tier 1: 2–5 years, minimum 3 employees.
- Tier 2: 5–10 years, 10–30 employees.
- Tier 3: 10+ years or investor-ready.
- Submit business registration and enterprise information.
- Submit a written pitch of up to 800 words.
- Shortlisted applicants provide supporting evidence concerning access to finance.
