About this opportunity
The Africa Prize supports African innovators developing engineering-based solutions with potential for commercialisation and social or economic impact. Up to 16 innovators receive an eight-month programme focused on business development, commercialisation and technical mentoring, with finalists competing for prize money.
Requirements
- Be a citizen of a Sub-Saharan African country.
- Be ordinarily based in Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have an engineering-based innovation beyond the idea stage.
- Demonstrate technical viability.
- Show potential for commercialisation and impact.
- Apply individually or as the lead applicant of a team.
