The MOFCOM Scholarship is a fully funded postgraduate scholarship established by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce to develop professionals and government officials from developing countries. It supports English-taught Master's and PhD programmes at designated Chinese universities in fields related to development, public administration, economics, engineering, trade, and management.

Requirements checklist

    Be a citizen of an eligible developing country (including Nigeria).

    Be in good physical and mental health.

  3. 03

    Hold a Bachelor's degree for Master's applicants or a Master's degree for PhD applicants.

  4. 04

    Generally be under 45 years of age.

  5. 05

    Have at least three years of relevant professional work experience.

  6. 06

    Meet the English language requirements of the programme.

  7. 07

    Be nominated through the Chinese Embassy/ECCO or other designated authority in the applicant's country.
