About this opportunity
The Munich International Youth Library Fellowship supports international researchers, doctoral candidates, graduates and authors working on children's and young adult literature or closely related subjects. Fellows spend 6 weeks to 3 months conducting research at the International Youth Library at Blutenburg Castle in Munich, with access to one of the world's major collections of children's and youth literature.
Requirements
- Be a non-German citizen.
- Have a clearly defined research or publication project.
- The project should relate to children's or young adult literature or a closely connected field.
- Demonstrate why the International Youth Library's collections are important to the project.
- Have sufficient proficiency in German and/or English.
- Applicants may include graduates, doctoral candidates, researchers and authors.
- Submit a research project description of up to three pages, cover letter and relevant academic/professional information.
