About this opportunity
The University of Birmingham offers a range of postgraduate research scholarships and studentships for doctoral researchers. The College of Arts and Law Doctoral Scholarships include both fully funded and partially funded awards for campus-based doctoral research. The University has confirmed that the 2027 funding round will be announced in Autumn 2026.
Requirements
- Must apply for an eligible doctoral research programme at the University of Birmingham.
- Must normally hold, or be completing, a relevant Master's degree.
- Must demonstrate strong academic and research potential.
- Proposed research should align with the relevant College/school research priorities.
- Must meet the University's admission requirements for the selected PhD programme.
- International applicants can apply for the relevant awards, although the funding terms may differ from those for Home students.
