About this opportunity
The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Doctoral Scholarship supports outstanding doctoral researchers whose work relates to major societal issues and who demonstrate strong leadership potential. Scholars become part of the Foundation's community of Scholars, Mentors and Fellows and receive financial support for their doctoral studies, research, travel and professional development.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled full-time in, or accepted into, a doctoral programme at a Canadian university.
- Must be pursuing research in areas connected to the Foundation's themes.
- Must demonstrate academic excellence.
- Must demonstrate leadership and engagement beyond academia.
- International students may be eligible, subject to the Foundation's specific eligibility rules.
- Applicants must be prepared to participate actively in the Foundation's programming, including mentorship and community activities.
