About this opportunity
The Faculty for the Future Fellowship supports women from low- and middle-income countries who are pursuing PhD or postdoctoral research in STEM disciplines abroad. The programme aims to increase the participation of women in STEM and encourages Fellows to return to their home countries and contribute through teaching, research, entrepreneurship or STEM policy. Master's programmes are not eligible.
Requirements
- Must be a woman and citizen of an eligible low- or middle-income country where women are underrepresented in STEM.
- Must be pursuing a PhD or postdoctoral research; Master's degrees are not funded.
- Must have applied to, been admitted to, or already be enrolled at a recognized host university/research institute abroad.
- Must have an excellent academic record.
- Must demonstrate teaching experience in the home country.
- Must demonstrate commitment to returning to the home country/region.
- Must demonstrate leadership, community outreach and commitment to encouraging girls and women into STEM.
- Schlumberger/SLB employees are not eligible.
