About this opportunity
The André B. Lalonde Bursary supports Canadian medical students and early-career physicians who want to work, or are already working, with underserved Canadian communities, Indigenous populations in Canada, or populations in low-resource international settings. The bursary promotes greater knowledge and interest in national and international women's health issues among Canadian healthcare professionals who are members of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC).
Requirements
- Must be a medical student or early-career physician.
- Must be a Canadian healthcare professional.
- Must be a member of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC).
- Must intend to work, or currently work, with underserved Canadian communities, Indigenous populations in Canada, or populations in low-resource international settings.
- Proposed work should contribute to women's health.
- Must submit the required application and supporting documents by the deadline.
