About this opportunity
The AIxBio Research Fellowship is a 10-week, full-time fellowship in Cambridge for researchers, engineers, policy professionals and entrepreneurs working at the intersection of advanced AI and biosecurity. Fellows work on concrete research or policy problems with expert mentors and dedicated research managers. The programme has three tracks: Research, Placement and Founding.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older by 18 January 2027.
- Open to applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and career stages.
- Prior formal research experience is not required.
- Applicants should demonstrate strong reasoning and an interest in reducing biological risks, particularly those amplified by advanced AI.
- Applicants may come from AI, life sciences, policy, governance, security, engineering, entrepreneurship or related backgrounds.
- Must be able to participate in the 10-week programme from 18 January to 26 March 2027.
- The programme is primarily in person in Cambridge.
