AMIR Fund Medical ScholarshipProgram 2026/2027

The AMIR Fund Medical Scholarship Program provides full tuition scholarships to exceptionally talented Nigerian Muslim minority medical students from low-income households. Up to 20 students will receive support toward completing their medical education. The scholarship covers tuition and mandatory school fees and can be renewed annually until graduation, subject to satisfactory academic performance.
Requirements checklist

Must be a Nigerian citizen.

Must be a Muslim minority student from a low-income household.

Must be studying Medicine/MBBS.

Must be in 200 Level or above.

Must have a minimum CGPA of 3.50/5.00.

Must be studying at one of the following institutions:
• University of Ibadan (UI) • University of Lagos (UNILAG) • Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) • Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) • Bayero University Kano (BUK) • University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) • University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) • University of Benin (UNIBEN) • Federal University of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Abeokuta (FUMMSA) • Lagos State University (LASU) • Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU)
