UNESCO Science for CrisisResponse and Solutions (SCRS) Research Continuity Grants for Africa
All Information
This small-grants programme helps African researchers resume or complete natural-science research that was interrupted by armed conflict or a natural or biological hazard. The first pilot round will award six institutional grants of up to US$2,000 each. Supported activities must be clearly connected to the interrupted research, such as recovering research data, completing fieldwork, repairing essential equipment or covering laboratory and publication costs. Proposed activities must be achievable within six months. The grant is intended to preserve scientific knowledge and research capacity in crisis-affected settings, rather than fund entirely new research projects.
