Better Life Lab 2026–2027Multimedia Reporting Grants at New America
All Information
The Better Life Lab invites journalists and storytellers to produce original reporting about solutions to challenges surrounding caregiving, family life, gender equity and work. For the 2026–2027 cycle, it is particularly interested in innovations in childcare and solutions that improve care for families, people with disabilities, older adults and people approaching the end of life. Accepted formats include written articles, photojournalism, graphic stories, podcasts, audio, video and other multimedia projects. Selected reporters receive financial support, editorial guidance, help pitching their stories to publications and opportunities to connect with other journalists in a reporting cohort. Both emerging and experienced reporters are welcome
