This grant supports field research and practical projects that protect threatened wildlife and habitats worldwide. Eligible activities include biodiversity research, environmental education, conservation techniques and integrated breeding programmes. Projects involving local collaborators or aligning with the zoo’s conservation priorities receive particular consideration.

Requirements checklist

    Applicants must be affiliated with an organization, such as an NGO or university, capable of receiving the funding.

    There are no nationality restrictions.

  3. 03

    Projects must contribute directly to biodiversity or ecosystem conservation.

  4. 04

    Applications must include a completed application form, detailed project budget, CV of no more than two pages, two recommendation letters and the appropriate tax documentation.

  5. 05

    Applications must be submitted in English.

  6. 06

    Projects involving highly invasive or terminal research, or the collection of specimens, will not be considered.
