This grant supports innovative, scalable projects that improve access to cancer treatment, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. It is intended for projects that reduce barriers to cancer care through practical, evidence-based solutions, including treatment optimization, drug repurposing, technology-supported care and approaches that make treatment more affordable and accessible.

Requirements checklist

    Applicants may include eligible academic institutions, nonprofit organizations and research consortia.

    Projects must improve access to cancer care and demonstrate potential for practical implementation and scale.

    Proposals must include patient partners with an active role in project governance.

  4. 04

    Applicants must secure co-funding equal to 50% of the total project cost within six months of approval.

  5. 05

    Applicants must submit a Letter of Intent before being considered for a full proposal.
